I haven't written on here for a very long time because I have become so obsessed with tumblr. Anyways school isn't as bad as you might think. I finally (maybe) got a co-op placement at Dagg and Stacey. It's really exciting because their clothes are amazing, they even have knee-socks in their collection. PLUS the studio is in Liberty Village, and I think it's become my new favorite place in Toronto.

Halloween is coming up. I love Halloween so much. It sucks because it's on a sunday this year, but I'm still going trick or treating with some friends, dressed up as Alice in Wonderland of course. That saturday I'm maybe going to Fear Fest, which will scare the crap out of me. And on the friday I will be attending Skalloween, headlined by the lovely and talented HOF - www.myspace.com/hoftoronto :)

yay for music!

For the longest time, I was only downloading music off the internet, rather than buying the artist's CD. Until yesterday. I went to HMV and ended up buying 7 albums: Little Boots' Hands; Lykke Li's Youth Novels; Marina & The Diamonds' Family Jewels; Matt & Kim's Grand; Two Door Cinema Club's Tourist History; Kasabian's West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum; & Stars' The Five Ghosts. I was super excited to listen to my new albums since they are seven of my favorite artists/bands, and since the last album I bought was probably Destiny's Child in grade six. :|

I was also browsing on ticketmaster this morning and I came across a Marina & The Diamonds show at the El Mocambo in September. Of course I freaked out seeing as along with Little Boots, Marina & The Diamonds is my absolute favorite artist. But once I looked into it further, it turned out that the show is 19+. Which sucks. So much. Ugh.

And as you might have guessed, I'm still wearing my new shoes around my house for fun.
On another note, my step-sister comes in from Vancouver Island on Monday, and my sister and her boyfriend arrive from Saltspring Island on Tuesday! Which is super exciting because that means I won't be an only child again!

Okay so I'm freaking out. I just got shoes for the wedding, and they are perfect and they're so me and I am in love with them. I got them from Browns, not on sale or anything. I can easily say they are my new favorite shoes. I feel kind of shallow blogging about how much I love my new heels, but I had to make an exception because I just love them that much.

Yesterday was my birthday! I can go get my G1! Except I haven't read the drivers book yet, but I will. I'm so happy school is done with. Only marks review day. Anyways, I had a very good birthday. :)

I think I may have failed my history exam. It was super difficult, to say the least. French ended up being easy though, so I think that went well. I only have math left, and it will be easy.

So today after my exams I was running some errands, and decided to go into a vintage store, just to see if they had anything good. I looked around for a bit, found a few cute dresses and shirts, and went to try them on. Nothing really stood out for me, until I found this one cardigan and blazer. The cardigan has argyle on the front, and it's 100% cashmere, for $5.99. Then my mom pointed something out to me. It was a black and white, hounds-tooth blazer. Then I looked at the label. Diane Von Furstenburg. $7.99.
(I also got a cute top, but it wasn't as amazing as the other two things.)
It's safe to say that my day turned waay around.

exams & stuff.

Ugh. Exams. So far I have completed 1/5; english & science. Monday I have french & history, which will be difficult considering I learned nothing in those subjects this year. Thursday is math, but that's fine because it's super easy.
Then on Sunday, it's my birthday! Yay for sweet sixteens! I'm guessing the day after I'll be going to do my G1 test. My online practice tests haven't been going very well, so maybe I should start studying. But I've been doing way too much of that lately.
And in case anyone was interested, I bought a dress for the wedding. It's strapless, pink and has lace. It's really casual but I guess I can dress it up. I got an email yesterday that the one dress I was in love with came back in stock. :| Of course.

poor ipod :(

So the past week was pretty hectic. Lots of projects due.
 Last week I had a french history fair, for my summative in history. My groups subject was music from the 80's. It was a fun project, since I love music and already knew most of the bands I needed to research. I dressed up as Debbie Harry from Blondie, my friend dressed as David Bowie, and my other two friends dressed as fans. But at the end of the day when I was putting my table back into the cafeteria, I left my iPod in my speakers. I came back and it was gone. I still have yet to find it, hopefully someone decides to give it back. It really sucks since I keep everything on there, and I always have it with me.

The dress I love on modcloth.com still hasn't gone back in stock, so I should probably start looking for a different one... one I can buy in a store. I really hope it does go back though, it's the nicest dress I've seen in a while.

This week will be a lot more relaxed. Today we got out of school an hour early, tomorrow we have a two hour "fun lunch", Wednesday school starts an hour late, and then moratorium starts. But with the start of moratorium comes the start of exams. Which means more stress.
Oh well. I'll just have to deal. I cannot wait until summer comes and I don't have to do homework or see people I don't wanna see...

the perfect dress.

So since my moms wedding is quickly approaching, I have been on a search for the perfect dress. I have very clear ideas of what i'd want in a dress for this occasion. It has to be a summery, bright color; it has to have a bow, ruffles and/or beads/sequins of some sort; and preferably strapless. Very specific. Well I did end up finding the perfect dress online, on modcloth.com:

I was hesitant to buy it, since I usually don't purchase things online. But, I should have bought it when I had the chance, since now it is out of stock. :( 

So, for now I will have to check daily to see if it comes back, and I must find a backup for my "perfect dress". It better come back in stock on time...

math class

So, my math class has changed quite a bit throughout the year. Lately I sit with Catherine and we discuss the randomest things. It's pretty funny if you listen in on our conversations because they can get a little out of hand...
Today we were bored and sitting there and we started calling people... like Miles Holmwood from Stereos. Yes, we have his number. But he didn't pick up, and he voice mail box was completely full. :|

Oh and my obsession with Megan Fox is getting really big again. Just thought I'd share.

So the first full week of school after march break is over, and a new school week started. School is so boring. None of my classes are interesting. NONE. You'd think that at least drama or english (english is usually my favorite subject) would be interesting but nope. Maybe it has to do with my horrible teachers. Especially my english & french/careers teachers. My english teacher last year was probably one of the best teachers I've ever had, then she decided to switch schools... My french & careers teacher is just super annoying and no one understands her teaching. Plus last class she accused me of missing a test on purpose. I fully told her I was really late that day... whatever.

Saba's birthday was on friday so she invited Aliyah, Robbs, Anisha & I to this park. That was fun. We bought a bunch of drinks and food, then we didn't have any cups so I bought plastic wine cups. I would've gotten normal plastic cups but a pack of those is 4.99, while the wine cups were on sale for a dollar, which I don't understand at all.
Then later friday Jocelyn slept over. We watched Bandslam; we have a tradition of watching cheesy high school movies at sleepovers. Then the next day was a shoppers beauty event so we went together with our moms and got our make up done. I won a basket, so now I have even more make up & beauty supplies. And I think we had to make around four trips to the Starbucks washroom...

buuuuuut today is my sister's birthday so, HAPPY BIRTHDAY SISSY!! LOVE YOU LOTS!

So today, Aliyah, Robbs, Saba & I went down to Queen St W. I wanted to go to Stella Luna and get some cute vintage shoes, but I didn't know where it was on the street so we never went in. I did however, find an adorable flower print dress from a different vintage store for only $10. I only spent $20 today, which is amazing considering I am such a shopaholic. I'm pretty proud of myself. Such a good day.

On the way back, both the eastbound and the westbound subways weren't working or something, so we had to "go upstairs and take the shuttle bus". So we went upstairs then the TTC lady comes running out and starts telling everyone that the subways are working again, so we had to go all the way back and pay again. Plus on the way down, we were confused and got off at the wrong stops...

Niagara was amazing, and super fun. We went to one of the wax museums, and that was really funny. The spa was amazing, and I got a nice Alice In Wonderland shirt from the MGM Store. It really didn't feel like it was two days though, could've been four. Super fun though.

march break.

March break is finally here, thank God. School was getting so unbearable, I'm so glad I can just hang around, sleep in and not doing much for a week. I woke up at one pm today; it is currently four pm and I'm still wearing my pajamas.

Feels weird not going somewhere warm and sunny, since I've been going to the Dominican for the last couple spring breaks, but I have other plans...

Originally I was just going to loaft around all week with Robbs, Saba & Aliyah, but my mom decided to surprise me by booking a room in the Niagara Doubletree Hilton for a night, and we're going to the Aveda Spa as well. She booked us both an hour facial, an hour massage and an hour pedicure. The pedicure confuses me, considering the longest pedicure I've ever had was a half hour, so I have no idea what they will be doing to our feet.

Then Thursday, Robbs, Saba, Aliyah & I are going to Queen St. all day. Friday I may be going to some movies, like Alice In Wonderland FINALLY, since I am obsessed with the original.

Tonight STB & my mom are going to the cottage, so I have the house to myself again. I would've gone too but I'm meeting my dad again, and there isn't much to do at the cottage when it's rainy and cold. Movies only entertain me for so long...

new layout

So, I got sick of my other layout and changed it. I like it, I just need to get used to it. And I finally realized how to change the blog address, so goodbye cheesy grade eight name!

STB took my mom to a nice hotel for the night, since she's been so stressed. He made sure it was a surprise then told her an hour before they left. He's so cute with her. So Kaitlyn slept over. Best friends since grade five :) She's always so funny. Anyways, I'm off to go get ready for lunch.

wow, it's been a while since my last post.

Semi ended up being so much fun, can't wait for the next one. My project is all done and although I didn't do the fashion show, I think it went well. I was sick all last week, and that is why I didn't post anything about semi sooner.

Not much else is new, but I've been having tons of fun with Robbs, Aliyah & Saba. Love them.

Oh, & i have a new found love for The Secret Handshake, The Maine & A Rocket To The Moon. That's all. :)

Well, in history for a new project I get to be a designer from the 20's/30's, which is pretty exciting, considering fashion is pretty much my life. A bunch of friends want to be my models, so I'm planning on having a fashion show. And because Chanel was still around back then, I'm making her the designer that I dress up as. Don't know where I'll get the dresses from, but I'll find a way...


You may be a little confused to why I named this post 7 days. Well, that happens to be the amount of days until semi! I didn't realize that it was that soon, so it's a good thing I already have everything covered. I'm starting to get pretty excited...

Coco would like me to mention that I ate fries two days ago.

The newest addition to my list is Akihiro Sato. He is suuuper sexy. His background is Brazilian-Japanese and he's 23, same age as Megan Fox. My math friends and I were drooling over the pictures I have of him on my Ipod, which encouraged me to search him. The smaller picture is also my Ipod background.

Okay so in math we had a quiz, then my teacher, being the way he is, let the class leave. So my friends in that class and I went to watch the basketball game. While we were watching, two of my friends noticed a guy on one of the teams. They kept going on and on about how perfectly round his ass was and how fine he was. Pretty funny. But they did not notice number 23... He was goorrgeeouss. Sadly both of them got tripped and benched... Of course the first person I saw after that was my best guy friend Ethan and being a guy, he didn't care at all.

I made this blog a year ago to try out my gossip blogging skills, but it turned out that I didn't have any... I'm in my Photoshop class with my friend who will go by Coco. She is hilarious, and trying to get me to write ridiculous things on here.

So, my life is pretty average, I live in a bungalow with my mom and soon-to-be-stepdad(STB), and actually I happen to be their wedding planner. I attend a public school and I have average grades. My friends are the best, so funny and I love them.

BUT, since I decided to redo my blog during class, it means I have 2 minutes until the bell rings, and I have to go to math. For now I will leave it at this.
