I don't enjoy being back at school. There's no air conditioning. I got my schedule and I have hardly any classes with my friends. Greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat.

yay for music!

For the longest time, I was only downloading music off the internet, rather than buying the artist's CD. Until yesterday. I went to HMV and ended up buying 7 albums: Little Boots' Hands; Lykke Li's Youth Novels; Marina & The Diamonds' Family Jewels; Matt & Kim's Grand; Two Door Cinema Club's Tourist History; Kasabian's West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum; & Stars' The Five Ghosts. I was super excited to listen to my new albums since they are seven of my favorite artists/bands, and since the last album I bought was probably Destiny's Child in grade six. :|

I was also browsing on ticketmaster this morning and I came across a Marina & The Diamonds show at the El Mocambo in September. Of course I freaked out seeing as along with Little Boots, Marina & The Diamonds is my absolute favorite artist. But once I looked into it further, it turned out that the show is 19+. Which sucks. So much. Ugh.

And as you might have guessed, I'm still wearing my new shoes around my house for fun.
On another note, my step-sister comes in from Vancouver Island on Monday, and my sister and her boyfriend arrive from Saltspring Island on Tuesday! Which is super exciting because that means I won't be an only child again!

Okay so I'm freaking out. I just got shoes for the wedding, and they are perfect and they're so me and I am in love with them. I got them from Browns, not on sale or anything. I can easily say they are my new favorite shoes. I feel kind of shallow blogging about how much I love my new heels, but I had to make an exception because I just love them that much.

Yesterday was my birthday! I can go get my G1! Except I haven't read the drivers book yet, but I will. I'm so happy school is done with. Only marks review day. Anyways, I had a very good birthday. :)
OH and i got a new ipod, so it's all good :)

I think I may have failed my history exam. It was super difficult, to say the least. French ended up being easy though, so I think that went well. I only have math left, and it will be easy.

So today after my exams I was running some errands, and decided to go into a vintage store, just to see if they had anything good. I looked around for a bit, found a few cute dresses and shirts, and went to try them on. Nothing really stood out for me, until I found this one cardigan and blazer. The cardigan has argyle on the front, and it's 100% cashmere, for $5.99. Then my mom pointed something out to me. It was a black and white, hounds-tooth blazer. Then I looked at the label. Diane Von Furstenburg. $7.99.
(I also got a cute top, but it wasn't as amazing as the other two things.)
It's safe to say that my day turned waay around.

exams & stuff.

Ugh. Exams. So far I have completed 1/5; english & science. Monday I have french & history, which will be difficult considering I learned nothing in those subjects this year. Thursday is math, but that's fine because it's super easy.
Then on Sunday, it's my birthday! Yay for sweet sixteens! I'm guessing the day after I'll be going to do my G1 test. My online practice tests haven't been going very well, so maybe I should start studying. But I've been doing way too much of that lately.
And in case anyone was interested, I bought a dress for the wedding. It's strapless, pink and has lace. It's really casual but I guess I can dress it up. I got an email yesterday that the one dress I was in love with came back in stock. :| Of course.
